Ilan Heimann

Head of Sales and Partnerships

Ilan joined ALPIMA in November 2015 as Head of Sales and Partnerships.

Ilan heads up our team of talented sales people and oversees all client-facing activities. He has managed the successful implementation of the ALPIMA platform at a wide range of prestigious institutions globally.

Prior to ALPIMA, Ilan spent two decades in the asset management industry working with institutional clients globally across all asset classes. He is passionate about innovation and simplifying investment solutions.

Before joining ALPIMA, Ilan was a Senior Vice President with PIMCO for eight years, most recently as Account Manager and Business Developer for Germany, Austria and Switzerland, covering institutional clients. Prior to that Ilan ran PIMCO’s EMEA Structured Product offering and created PIMCO’s Advisory Business.

Previously, Ilan worked for eleven years with Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM) in various roles within equities, fixed income and alternative investments. Throughout his tenure Ilan was, amongst other things, responsible for establishing GSAM’s European Equity Risk Management effort, an Equity portfolio construction framework for global equity portfolios, and assisting institutional clients in creating bespoke multi-asset investment solutions.
Ilan holds an MSc in Business Finance from Brunel University and studied Business Administration at Saarland University, Germany. He is a CFA® charterholder.

He lives in London with his wife and two children. Keen skier and cyclist.
