Based in Boston, Rafael Febres-Cordero is an experienced advisor, entrepreneur and builder of digital business models.
With over 25 years’ experience in the asset and wealth management industry, notably with Fidelity Investments (including its private equity division) and Fidelity International, Rafael is an accomplished executive with a proven track record of profitably developing and advising asset and wealth management businesses in the Americas, Europe and Asia. He has led and advised C-level executives grow, transform, innovate, build products, deliver solutions, and launch new ventures.
He currently serves as an advisor to a Boston-based commercial real estate fund (North Colony Asset Management) and as Board Advisor to a Bogota-based Venture Studio building digital platforms to empower the middle-class in Latin America (Polymath Ventures). Rafael is also a Board Advisor of the Global Leaders Program, Board Visitor at McLean Hospital and member of the Concord Holy Family Parish Council.
Previously, Rafael served as Senior Advisor and Executive-in-Residence to financial services organizations at Capgemini‘s digital transformation division, Managing Partner to a Boston-based strategy innovation consultancy (Walden Pond VentureS), Partner to a Boston-based family investment office focused on emerging consumer brands (Rudyard Partners) and Senior Advisor to a Boston-based venture capital fund focused on medical technology (BioVentures).
Rafael holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration with honours from Northeastern University and a Master of Science in Management from Hult International Business School.
